HealthyBuilt Homes Orientation

Interested homebuilders and building professionals are invited to a half-day introduction to the NC HealthyBuilt Homes (HBH) Programs, a statewide green builder program.  The NC HBH Program provides visibility and third party certification of homes for homebuilders who build sustainable, high performance homes and provides educational and marketing support.  The training is a requirement for builders who wish to build NC HealthyBuilt Homes; it is also an extremely useful workshop for all those who are interested in residential green building.  Current HBH members may send two employees at no cost.

Orientation Schedule
7:30 a.m. - 8:00 am - Registration
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - An orientation to the program and an introduction to the HBH checklist.

Registration fee:
$50 if registered through September 11, 2008
$80 if registered through September 11, 2008

HealthyBuilt Homes Prerequisites and Energy Star Topic Workshop.

Interested homebuilders and building professionals are invited to attend these four hour Topic Workshops on several basic residential green building issues.  These courses cover residential green topics at an intermediate level and focus on: an overview of the topic; the HBH checklist is used to discuss topic specifics. Current HBH members may send one employee at no cost.

Registration fee:
$75 if registered through September 11, 2008
$105 if registered after September 11, 2008
