ECA Members Project for Operation Purple

Recently members of the Halifax County Extension & Community Association met to make pencil cases. The pencil cases will be given to campers attending the Operation Purple Heart Camp the week of August 10-16, 2008, at the 4-H Rural Life Center.
The club members chose this project as a way to remind the campers of their time in Halifax County. Operation Purple Heart is the fist full week residential camp that has been held at our 4-H Rural Life Center on Highway 903.
