Poll: Rural Nebraskans Back 'Immediate' Government Steps to Curb Climate Change

LINCOLN, Neb. — A majority of rural Nebraskans are concerned enough about global warming that they support "immediate action" by the government, though many older residents and people in agricultural occupations are skeptical about climate change's causes and impact, according to the Nebraska Rural Poll.

Summer Weather Outlook: Equal Chances Wet or Dry

LINCOLN, Neb. — Most of Nebraska has seen above normal precipitation and below normal temperatures this summer, and July forecasts show equal chances of those trends continuing, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's state climatologist said.

Simple Steps Can Prevent Water and Flood Damage in Homes
